Jeff Fritzges knows what makes boat engines tick. He also knows how to make that annoying vibration go away.

If this annoys you, that’s when it’s time to contact True Phase, Fritzges’ new vibration analysis company, specialists in finding out where that darn vibration is coming from.

“No boater likes it when their vessels aren’t running at peak performance, especially when it gets noisy,” says president/founder Jeff Fritzges. “That’s when you call us. We’re the experts at detecting vibration and rooting out its causes.”

Headquartered in Spring Valley, True Phase uses sophisticated vibration monitoring equipment to evaluate such basics as the engine’s running condition as well as mount performance, gear condition, shaft alignment condition, shaft condition, cutlass bearing condition, and propeller condition.

“First, we accurately measure the vibration frequency, then define the problem source,” said Fritzges, who launched the firm in late 2008 after moving back to his beloved California from Florida. “A basic survey can be accomplished in a matter of hours. Good information allows you to make good decisions. It’s really that simple.”

True Phase is one of only a few US companies that accommodate testing to Lloyd, ABS and RINA standards, and the only one in San Diego that supports our large yacht and boating community.

“We’re proud of our staff’s technical expertise, but we’re most proud of the human element of vibration remediation that we provide our customers,” says Fritzges, “Our mission is to provide yacht builders and boating enthusiasts not only with peace of mind but a more enjoyable boating experience.”

Without that darn vibration.
